Chandrayaan 3 Live Updates

India’s mission to the moon is in its own way as Chandrayaan-3 is going to land on the moon’s south pole on August 23. If we succeed in this mission, it will be an achievement for us. This achievement will create history for all the Indians as we know that India will be listed on the 4th rank after the US, China and the Soviet Union.

Four years of our hard work will be the ulterior motive of this mission. Last 20-30 minutes will highly be crucial to get the success. Indians across the country and the  world are praying for Chadrayan-3’s landing. This would be a winning moment for all the Indians.

Hardship behind the vision of Chandrayaan 3:

Experts said that the success of Chandrayaan-3 will be determined in the last 15 to 20 minutes. While landing of Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander with rover Pragyan will help in soft landing.

Updates from an Interview of S Somnath with HT.

ISRO Chief S Somnath said that four years is not a short period of time. He said that people utilised all of their time to map all contingencies, to make the mission better and prepared backup plans. We also have backup for the back up plans.

He stated that his confidence is coming from the Team work that immense efforts and expertise have been put on this mission from the last four years, and he clarified that it is not overconfidence but belief and hard work of his team.

“We are extremely confident that it is gonna be a successful mission,” says ISRO chief S. Somnath to HT.

Moon Anthem:

At this moment of landing of Vikram Lander and Pragyan Module of spacecraft, a poet and diplomat Abhay K wrote down a “Moon Anthem”.

He wrote down the moon anthem in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo. It’s a pride moment for our country, the anthem boosts our confidence to be successful in the mission.

A Glimpse on the History of India’s second lunar mission:

The history of the mission of Chandrayaan-2, which failed in the last 20 minutes before landing, therefore ISRO is more meticulous this time in the process. To avoid the risk to the spacecraft before the moon landing, duration of 15 or 20 minutes is considered as a “minutes of terror”

because those will decide the success or failure of the mission. In the last 20 minutes the process will become automated, where the Vikram lander will ignite its own engines at the right time and altitudes.
